Paride Chiovini has been managing three hectares of vineyard, located between Sizzano and Ghemme, producing the grape varieties of Nebbiolo, Vespolina and Uva Rara.The wine is produced in accordance with the wine-making techniques governed by the production regulations for Sizzano DOC, for the Colline Novaresi DOC and European regulations for the integrated struggle to protect the environment.
The castle-fortified quarter of Ghemme was built in the days of the fights between Guelphs and Ghibellines and it is a unique example in Piedmont of complex urban fortification. Its fascinating atmosphere carry us back to the past times of the castle life.
Established in Bogogno in 1995, Cà Nova is located in a restructured 1668 farmstead with a capacity to produce 45.000 DOC and DOCG wine bottles per year.
