Varieties of rice, cultivation, use of rice in cooking: these are the subject of the exclusive stage “The Ultimate Rice Experience”, where a Rice Sommelier will accompany you in a dedicated room to discover, smell, touch the varieties of rice, grasp the differences for uses in the kitchen and investigate the defects to be discovered. Finally, with an authentic Rice Mill, you will discover the transformation of rice, from raw “paddy” to white rice ready for packaging.Will you be able to discover defects? Will you identify the perfetc grains? No fear: at the end of the experience, you will receive a pleasant Souvenir and you can relax while having a “Vertical Rice Tasting”, in the refined and authentic setting of a prestigious Country House in the heart of the rice fields.
How does it work?
This experience includes the seminar, where the Rice Sommelier illustrates in a simple and complete way with photos and videos the origin of our rice, the areas and processes of cultivation, the varieties of rice, the nutritional properties, curiosities and anecdotes about rice and our countryside. Then… RICE-LAB: we will put the mini rice mill into operation and we will process our rice!
